Hi,

I'm having trouble getting Pg.pm (the perl<->postgres module) working.

I have installed the following rpm's from the postgresql ftp site:

postgresql-6.5.1-2.i386.rpm
postgresql-devel-6.5.1-2.i386.rpm
postgresql-perl-6.5.1-2.i386.rpm
postgresql-server-6.5.1-2.i386.rpm

When I try "perl -e 'use Pg'" I get:

 Can't load '/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i386-linux/auto/Pg/Pg.so' for
module Pg: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i386-linux/auto/Pg/Pg.so:
undefined symbol: Perl_markstack_ptr at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/i386-linux/DynaLoader.pm line 169.

Postmaster is running and I can successfully use psql and pgaccess. I
seem to have the appropriate libraries in /usr/lib. But something is
clearly wrong.

 I'm running VALinux's version of RedHat 6.0.

 Any help is appreciated.

 Thanks,

 Sebastian.
