Dear Sirs,
we managed to successfully install Postgres v. 6.5.3 on our
Alpha Server 1000, with minimal problems.
We run DEC Tru64 Unix v. 4.0f, with DEC's cc and gcc 2.8.1
installed.
We had to use option --with-CC=cc and --without-CXX in order to build,
as using gcc did not result in a successful build.
