Hello.
I installed cygwin today. Default installation + postgresql 7.3.4-2.
After installation I try the following as the same user.
% ipc-daemon2 &
% mkdir /data
% initdb -D /data
This result in the famous
IpcSemaphore Create: semget(key=1, num=17, 03600) failed: Function not
implemented
Then I stopped the ipc-daemon2 and unpacked cygipc-2.01-2 from /.
I still get the ipc error.
What am I doin wrong? I (think) I did the same two weeks ago. That
installation is working very well!
