Subject: IMPORTANT NOTICE: pgsql-loophole@postgresql.org
Morning all...
I've had a couple of queries over the past few days about
'cross-list' posting, where you answer email that is CC'd to a list you
aren't subscribed to.
It is recommended that everyone take a minute and subscribe to
pgsql-loophole-request@postgresql.org to avoid this happening. It is a
non-functional list, no mail will ever go out on it...its purpose is
purely to ensure that you can post to a list without being subscribed to
it.
For anyone wishing to make use of the newsgroups, for a posting to
be able to go from the newsgroup to the list, you *have* to be subscribed
to pgsql-loophole *at the very least*, or the posting will be rejected at
the gateway.
