Hi all, Is any advantege about using postgresql against mysql or any other
databases available for LINUX?

I'm use to using PROGRESS on UNIX and access on Windows but I'm using mysql
on LINUX and I 'd like to know if postgress perform better then mysql?

Also, is postgresql under just one file or is like mysql where you have
multiple files (indexes, data,etc) for each file?
