Thank you for pointing that out Tom. This is much more revealing. I
think I can take it from here. I'll check max_files_per_process in
postgresql.conf and I'll check my kernal's settings. Thanks!

the current transaction and exit, because another server process exited
abnormally and possibly corrupted shared memory.
HINT:  In a moment you should be able to reconnect to the database and
repeat your command.
