Not only that, but applying minor version update RPMs is fast.
Last weekend, this took 12 seconds to run:
alias suip='sudo -iupostgres'
suip pg_ctl stop -mfast -wt9999 \
    && sudo yum install -y Pg17.6_RHEL8/*rpm \
    && suip pg_ctl start -wt9999 \
    && psql -Xc "select version()"
