Hi,
while searching the psql-jobs list I noticed the following:

Search term: remote
List: psql-jobs
Post date: within last year

Sort by rank: 8 results
Sort by date: 7 resuls
Sort by reverse date: 5 results

regards,
Szymon Lipiński

Why do you consider those results strange? What is your question?

Why the number of results depends on the type of sorting?

Just a guess, but probably rank has something to do with it. As for data/reverse date, I have no idea.
