I have a database of size 4.2 GB SQL file. If I dump this file then I would like to know how big (in GB) it will be when loaded into PostgreSQL

Without knowing what that 4.2GB is comprised of its difficult to estimate (it is anyway...).  Assume between 5 and 20 GB but probably closer to 10GB.  At that size why do you even care about estimating?
