you are
speaking of - I haven't heard of "postgres-kit" before.
Have you built software on Mac OS X? If no then the likely problem is a
lack of installed software/files and non-understanding of how generally to
build software from source. These are not bugs.
You should ask whomever provided this code what its dependencies are.
Usually there is a package for your OS that installs software building
related files - someone using Mac OS X (or the internet at large) should be
able to help on that front.
