EnterpriseDB is looking for experienced Postgres DBAs to be part of our services organization. You can live any place in the US. Must be comfortable working with customers on a variety of different projects.
You will be part of a global team.
You will work with some of the world best PosgreSQL Experts (DBAs and Hackers).
Have numerous training opportunities and work on advanced Postgres and Database Projects.
Leadership opportunities.
Specific responsibilities include:
-Proactively working with EnterpriseDB customers to ensure their Postgres Environment are tuned properly and has EnterpriseDB's best practice for Postgres and Postgres Plus Advanced Server deployed.
-Work with EnterpriseDB's Engineering team to provide feedback on customer needs.
-Periodically travel to customer sites (travel less than 20% travel).
A qualified candidate will have the following:
Several years of Oracle or PostgreSQL experience preferred. Will consider other database experience as well.
Ability to work well with others.
Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal).
Experience with Mongo and Hadoop preferred but not required.
Must be able to legally work in the US immediately.
