We’re a PostgreSQL AI startup focused on making PostgreSQL faster, more efficient, and cost-effective. You’ll contribute to our ML-powered optimization engine, and play an important role in improving database performance across various platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
Tuning: Optimize PostgreSQL performance using advanced automation methods, working closely with our machine learning team to design, extend, and enhance our optimization engine.
Benchmarking: Design and implement benchmarks to test new and existing optimization solutions.
Customer interaction: Gather requirements and support partners by explaining PostgreSQL internals and the DBtune optimization engine.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL database administration and tuning.
Familiarity with benchmarking and monitoring tools.
Willingness to speak at PostgreSQL community events around the world.
