I'm not reading based on this or that commit. 
I'm reading the word "partial" in english, and I see partial as a subset of. 
Look at this example [1], what does "partial" mean there ? Is it not a filtered subset ?
So, if someone reads "Partial Mode" for the first time, what do they think?
