I installed the PostgreSQL 13 ODBC drivers (thanks Maggie). This is working for Maggie.
I fully uninstalled PostgreSQL. Deleted the directory postgresql in program files.’
Fully uninstalled the ODBC drivers.
I installed PostgreSQL 13.
I installed the 13 ODBC drivers.
I am still getting the same error.
No bugs listed like this on https://www.postgresql.org/list/pgsql-bugs/
Dr. Google suggests a role or username is lacking. So I try adding a role but it says user postgres already exists.
I tried adding a second user. No good trying the second user.
I can connect to the db in postgresql.
Does anyone have any other advice?

Use PostgreSQL ODBC Driver to work with PostgreSQL database with erwin DM.
Just for reference client ODBC can be downloaded from as per version of PostgreSQL Server: https://www.postgresql.org/ftp/odbc/versions/msi/

Hi Matt, please Postgres odbc drivers only. These drivers are not correct once’s.

Hi,
I am testing RE in erwin DM for PostgreSQL. To do that I installed the PROGRESS_DATADIRECT_ODBC_POSTGRESQL_WIN_64 ODBC drivers and when I try to configure the PostgreSQL datasource I get the below error.
I googled this but the closest I can find is there is BUG #5547: not able to connect to postgres through the oracle using Linux ODBC driver for Postgres but that seems unrelated to my situation.
I tried using both users postgres and pgasadmin but I get the same error. I am able to connect in pgadmin to the database.
Please let me know your advice to make this connect.
