Chinese in pgsql + jdbc - Mailing list pgsql-jdbc

In my Java web application, I use PostgreSQL. After I set up the Chinese multibyte encoding for the database, Chinese
characters can't be retrieved or stored right. Can anyone out there tell me what is missing?
