So, I'm experimenting hard moments with postgresql 8.3 , 8.4 and the beta version,
I installed first the 8.4 version in my system operation ( windows Vista Home Premium).
After installing I couldn't start the server and showed me NET HELPMSG 2185 ( The same problem that a guy who's name is GREG - He posted that as well).
I installed and unintalled, I put * on the listen_addresses, I really did what was possible!!!!!.
After the first install I always have to use the same password to connect with the server ( even I have installed other versions), maybe that's normal, but
what happens also is that when I was installing all versions occured me a message - post-intall, telling me that something functions might not work.
I want to know if the problem is the system operation!!!
