You can check out this:
It is a JSP based web application, and it can read the schema from a Postgres DB and stores it as an XML in the web-inf directory.
The only problem is that it's the sources are not available, but it's not obfuscated either ;)
Actually the application is more targeted towards editing that schema... I'm sure the developer needs some testers and feedback.

PS: please use the latest JDBC driver from CVS, the older versions will not work - the application gets all foreign keys and that works awfully slow without a recently applied patch.
