·         Recent experience with replication, Backup, High Availability

·         Postgres database administration

·         PostgreSQL development

·         Unix/Linux experience

·         Must have scripting experience (python/perl/bash)

·         Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

·         Motivated self-learner, Good problem solving skills

·         Manage multiple deliverables in a highly fast paced environment

·         Good grasp of hardware and system administration concepts

·         Strong knowledge of database concepts and fundamentals

·         Effectively interact with various teams within organization: Linux Admins, application developers, qa testers, project managers

·         Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
