On second thought, I think this SELECT isn't specific enough. This
should be better:

UPDATE track_length
SET length = (EXTRACT(hour FROM length)::min + EXTRACT(min FROM
LENGTH)::sec)

Still not sure of the casts, but I think it's closer.
