A few months ago a few people asked about this on the list. I thought
at the time the patches were already in CVS but they weren't.
The patches ARE now in CVS. To build the postgresql.jar with the code
in it just get hold of the latest pg cvs and build it with the
--with-java option. The jar file it produces is fairly portable
across versions.
