The problem I see is that different versions of repmgr are made for
different versions of Postgres, or are they the same binaries just
placing the repmgr and repmgrd bins in different paths?

It ends up being annoying when you have more then one version of PG
installed (or at least more then one version of pgdg repository
configured), else, it's straight forward.
