AFAICT, this is not an issue with pgAdmin, but with PostgreSQL. I have
the same display with psql:

b1=# select * from t3;       i
------------------00:00:031 day 00:01:0310 days 00:01:031 day 563:56:24563:56:24
(5 lignes)

It depends on the way I put them on the table.
