Hi folks,

i've just released two dokuwiki templates i've done. The fist one was
used for last year's french pgDay and the forthcoming european pgDay.

Both themes are "pg.org copycats". Both are intended to be simple to
install and easy to manage in a collaborative way : for example the
navigation bar is not hardcoded in the HTML template, it's a standalone
wiki page that can be edited by anyone who has the proper ACL.

Both themes are not completely valid XHTML 1.0 Strict. But there's no
CSS hacks. No table positioning. No Image-based layout. No Javascript.
It works perfectly on almost any browser, except the abominable IE6 (no
PNG transparency). It should be readable, altough not perfect, on
handheld devices.

the pgDay.fr 2008 template is a fixed size, 2-columns design :

the source code is here :
http://svn.postgresql.fr/repos/materials/themes/dokuwiki/makemyday/

see it in action -> http://2008.pgday.fr

the pgDay.eu 2009 template is a 3-columns liquid Layout :

code :
http://svn.postgresql.fr/repos/materials/themes/dokuwiki/pgDaisy/

in real life -> http://2009.pgday.eu

i hope this can be useful not only for other pgdays but for
postgresql-related websites. If you think it's worth it, i can package
these themes and put them somewhere on the advocacy section of wiki.pg.org

Any comment is welcome. I can provide some more explanations and a
little help for people who want to hack these themes. And of course if
you have created your own dokuwiki's templates, i'd be happy to
discuss about it :-)

cheers
