List pgsql-general
It works on one of my servers:
SELECT version();
                                                  version
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  PostgreSQL 8.3.4 on i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by GCC cc (GCC) 3.2.3
20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-59)

The one it fails on is running:
SELECT version();
                                                     version
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  PostgreSQL 8.3.5 on x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu, compiled by GCC cc (GCC)
3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-59)
