row v column numbers - Mailing list pgsql-novice

Hi,

Just wondering, in terms of performance, what would help most out of
changing the number of columns v changing the number of rows in a
table?

Say on a table with 60 columns & 15,000 rows, with indexes on heavily
queried columns.

Is it possible to generalize at all like this?
