Troubles with Ident Authetication - Mailing list pgsql-admin

Hello,

I got use auth md5 by one user access one table.
It's so good.

And i want create other rule using auth ident.

I installed ident, and it run in port 113/TCP.

I have databases names with a same user names.

Then I put in pg_hba.conf

host    TABLE        user       192.168.1.0/24
ident sameuser
host    template1    user       192.168.1.0/24
ident sameuser

But come this error : FATAL: Ident authentication
failed for user "user"

What is happen ?
