| Hi,
| I'm having problems installing pgadmin3-1.0.2 on Suse Linux 9.0.
| I have downloaded the following
| 1) postgresql-7.4.2
| compiled,installed and configured.
| ran the test procedures OK and I can create new databases OK
| 2) vxWindows-pgAdmin-20031010-7
| compiled and installed - I think it's OK (?)
| 3) pgadmin3-1.0.2
| when I attempt to run the configure script I get
| <lots of output>
| checking for pgsql include files... yes
| checking for pgsql... yes
| checking for PQexec in -lpq... no
| checking libpq-fe.h usability... no
| checking libpq-fe.h presence... no
| checking for libpq-fe.h... no
| checking pgsql in /usr/local/pgsql/data... failed
| configure: error: you must specify a valid pgsql installation
| with --with-pgsql=DIR
| Specifying the correct pgsql DIR from 1) with the --with-pgsql=
| doesn't help either.
| (The libpq-fe.h header file is present on the system)
| I'm obviously missing some step - could someone please give me a hint ?
Could you please send the config.log file created by configure?
