what is the problem with news.postgresql.org - Mailing list pgsql-general

Hallo,
I used to read some groups on news.postgresql.org with the news-program
of Netscape_7 (to prepare me for installing a PostgreSQL-Server...)

Since manny weeks I get no access to the News server, with the error:
"Could not connect to server news.postgresql.org.  The connection was
refused."

Could someone point me to the cause of this...?
