An intern for a group I do work for is trying to connect to a 7.0.2
database using MS-Access XP and ODBC. He can make the connection, but
when he, in his words, "try to add or update program inf ormation (or
when i try and select a number of different things) i get the message
"ODBC--connection to 'PostgreSQL' failed." " though he does have
read-only unchecked in all parts of the DSN.
I will note that there are no problems using Access 95, Access 97 or
Access 2000.
Any ideas on what to check or try?
