could not initialize database directory; - Mailing list pgsql-cygwin

Hi

I've bean setting postgresql already for 3 days :((
and I still can't understand why when i try to create a db i keep
receiveing this error:

NOTICE:  database directory '/usr/share/postgresql/data//base/26947'
could not b
e removed
ERROR:  CREATE DATABASE: could not initialize database directory; delete
failed
as well

Can anyone please help me?

win2k-sp2/ntfs,cygwin,psql7.1 rc4
