Anthony, I don't think this is a jdbc problem but standard postgres functionality. For example if you do the following in psql you will see the same error message: files=# create table test (column1 numeric); CREATE files=# select * from test where column1 = 12.2; ERROR: Unable to identify an operator '=' for types 'numeric' and 'double precision' You will have to retype this query using an explicit cast thanks, --Barry Anthony Kwok wrote: >I suspect it is JDBC problem because > >1.
