I am new user to POSTGRE.
Yesterday I downloaded the source code(v 6.4.2) and compiled on SUN
SPARC ULTRA machine running Solaris 2.5 (SunOS 5.5.1).
I got several problems while compiling with gcc
1. I was not able to compile it with "lex" already installed (v 2.0). I
had to download and install flex 2.5.4.
2. I was not able to build libpq++ library as source file (pgenv.h)
includes a file " String " which I could not locate anywhere.
I had to skip this build. Now I am running the regression tests.
