Hi
I get the following errors trying to get postgres running. The system is
$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-5.1 nes10600 1.5.10(0.116/4/2) 2004-05-25 22:07 i686 unknown unknown Cygwin

postgres is postgres (PostgreSQL) 7.4.3

postgres --describe-config output is attached
<<postgres --describe-config.txt>>

I also found this
$ grep 12 /usr/include/cygwin/signal.h
#define SIGSYS  12      /* bad argument to system call */

Any suggestions would be very gratefully received
