The new docs have .4rem horizontal padding which makes things like
https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/static/libpq-pgpass.html appear
to require spaces between the fields.
We've just had a case on IRC where a user was having trouble setting it
up because they thought the spaces were part of the format.
