Responsibilities:
- Design, improve and implement our core database infrastructure
- Formulate database techniques to support massive scalability and stability
- Resolve complex issues that improves system availability, reliability, and performance
Qualifications:
- BS or higher degree in relevant science or technical field
- Significant software development experience
- Experience implementing database internals
- Experience with schema design and SQL development
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
Desired Skills:
- PostgreSQL software development experience
- Django/Python, Ruby on Rails or PHP software development experience is a plus
- ASP.NET software development experience is a plus
- Experience building a high-performance large-scale database platform
- Experience with agile software development, and short release cycles
Opportunity:
- Minimum 6 month 1099 agreement
