This very set of questions is why I asked, on the Slony list, that we
write down what we think we need: what is the problem we are trying
to solve? Then we can come up with a set of features and behaviours
that will solve that problem. Then we can evaluate what technology
can help us in our quest.

I'm happy to try to summarise whatever discussion goes on in the
Slony discussion for the -www audience, if that will help. Will it?
