None of these projects will be a surprise to anyone, so in theory we could 
allow them to continue with submissions after the feature freeze date... in 
theory they should all have partial patches available by feature freeze time  
anyway. It would probably be easier to just push back the freeze a month 
though; guess that might depend on how many projects we actually get that 
need core internals hacking.  I suppose it is up to core eh, though we don't 
have all the info just yet.
