For now, do the following as root:

echo "/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi/CORE" >>/etc/ld.so.conf.d/perl-i386.conf
ldconfig -v

Then your pl/perl(u) creation should Do The Right Thing.

This will be fixed in the next (S)RPMs :)
