I absolutely agree and I've implemented a quick fix using my procmail
recipes:-

    :0 fh
    * ^TOpostgres
    | sed 's/\[GENERAL\]//'
    :0 A:
    postgres

I now get to see more of the subject without the distraction of
[GENERAL] stuck in the middle of it!   :-)
