problem : how to connect postgres with servlets - Mailing list pgsql-admin

hi all,
i want to connect postgresql with java servlets and
jsp.i know only one method using jdbc.is there any
other method of connecting both.and what is role of
jndi in it.is it user with jdbc or seperatly.
please help me...
