maybe 1.420.544 it's not a big difference for you, but here in italy
there's still a lot of people using 33.6/55Kb telephone line modem.
so, this difference means, downloading at 3kb/s, seven minutes...
also:
a) cpu utilization has no cost... band cost a lot;
b) if i have to download 5 files, and i can avoid 1 MB of download for each one...
