i'm hoping to install your odbc connection package so
my os 8.1 powermac can connect to my debian/2.2.17 linux
postgresql server (via excel, unfortunately).

i registered and got to stage one (where the main frame is
http://oplweb2.openlinksw.com/product/downwiz.asp?hname=reg)
which says to do steps one through three at least, and
four is optional.

this is step one itself, 'client components' -- but how do
i get to 'request broker' and 'database agent'?

isn't it logical to include links to the other three steps
at some point? (i can't find them...)

and when i tried opening the control panel on my os 8.1
mac, i get 'spurious interrupt' or 'uninitialize interrupt
vector' errors...
