Couldn't find an archive for this list, so here you go. Seemed to build OK, and I managed to create a test database under the user 'postgres'. When I run the psql tool to connect to it, the client dumps core. Sorry for the spam; I searched a bit before posting, and saw others who had the problem, but couldn't find a fix.-- iofflush seems to be the offending function - anyone else resolved this? I *really* don't want to have to use MySQL , mainly because of its GPL license.
