Stored Procedure - Mailing list pgsql-general

Hi-
  I'm a newbie at this and was wondering how would you
create a simple stored procedure using postgres for a
simple query.  I just tried to create a basic
procedure that takes the query string but for some
strange reason it does not work properly.


$query_string = "select * from company;";
&SUB_QUERY;

sub SUB_QUERY
{
    $sqh = $dbh->prepare(q{$query_string});

    $sqh->execute();
}
