List pgsql-interfaces
Hello,
I am currently working on trying(proposed attempt really) to transfer
a code base from using informix to using postgres. Well my problem(s) are
that some standard embedded sql is not supported. These include

EXEC SQL include sqlda.h
EXEC SQL include sqltypes.h

Dynamic queries using a prepare/describe construct.

The rpm on my redhat machine reports:
postgresql-6.3.2-6
postgresql-clients-6.3.2-6
postgresql-data-6.3.2-6
postgresql-devel-6.3.2-6

ecpg -V
reports:
ecpg - the postgresql preprocessor, version: 1.1.0
Usage: ecpg: [-v] [-d] [-I include path] [ -o output file name] file1 [file2] ..

My real question is there another interface to use that is ansi standard
and can be used through C code? Is there a newer version of ecpg?

Please send replies to

Thanks
Leslie Donaldson
