The version is 9.3 in ubuntu.
yes i did it in standalone mode by using this command :
//usr/lib/postgresql/9.3/bin/postgres --single -D
/var/lib/postgresql/9.3/main -c
config_file=/etc/postgresql/9.3/main/postgresql.conf dbname/
