No. Those are wrappers, not the real command. For example:

guillaume@somewhere:~$ ll /usr/bin/psql
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 37 jan  2  2011 /usr/bin/psql
-> ../share/postgresql-common/pg_wrapper
