odbc + unix sockets - Mailing list pgsql-odbc

Hi,

I want to use the odbc to connect to the PostgresSQL server on a Unix box
from the same box.
Is there any possibility to use Unix sockets instead of tcpip?
If it is possible does anyone know how to configure it?
