You removed this sentence I wrote from your reply:

The same error on the 7.3.8 version happens on both UK mirror sites, and
a US mirror site. [While there I notice: US download was faster than
either UK site, wget-> UK system]

=> I tried 3 sites, with identical errors, before reporting this.

Checked the md5sum, which checks also- so not a security problem.

Not sure what else to say. What could be different between *7* and *8*
RPMs?
