From rom what I have seen on the lists is that a lot of people want to help,
but not a lot of people are really able to effectively help. I would
suggest getting on the -www group and pushing for changes and offering
to help. There seem to be a lot of things holding up progress on a few
tasks (website-wise)..and I am not sure if that is due to a lack of
organization or people. Seems like a lot of people are offering their
opinions but not a lot of people making their ideas functional. There
also seems to be this mentality that it's not easy to just modify the
site (even if it should be something fairly trivial to do).

So, what is the real issue? Organization? Prehistoric code that isn't
fun to maintain? Lack of people?

Like most products, PostgreSQL needs some marketing/design people to
enhance the sites appearance and promotion... geeks aren't always the
best people for that. ;-)
